ABOUT BRODIE
Brodie grew up bouncing between Saudi Arabia and the American South before settling in back in the States in middle school.
She has always gravitated to creative endeavors and feels fulfilled by lending her organizational skills to support creatives in producing the work that excites them.
EDUCATION
While working on her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Digital Community Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she joined UAB Digital Media (now UAB Digital Strategy and Marketing) as a Media Fellow to grow her skills as a video producer and editor.
She also served as Vice President of the Ballroom Dance Society of UAB where she taught classes and coached members for competition.
CAREER
Post-graduation, UAB Digital Strategy and Marketing asked her to join the team as the Creative Workflow Coordinator where she provided administrative and project management support that kept UAB’s in-house creative team running smoothly for three years.
She also managed the Media Fellowship and Internship programs providing mentorship, training, and task management for a rotating cohort of student creatives.
CURRENT
Her current day job is acting as the Slack Administrator for Pan-American Life Insurance Group and serving on their Change Communications team as a content creator specializing in change management, training materials, and documentation.
She now lives in New Orleans, LA with her dog, Sadie. In her free time, she enjoys ballroom dance, tabletop roleplaying games, and collecting house plants.
